Privacy as a Calabash Solutions customer

Calabash Customers are individuals and organisations with whom we have a business relationship, and who has engaged us in relation to one or more of our service offerings, including:

As a Calabash Customer, we collect and hold personal information about you. With a few exceptions, this information is limited to the kinds of information that can be found on a business card, such as your name, job title, employer name, work address, work email, and work phone number. Our preference is to engage with you using your business contact details only.
We collect personal information about you that is necessary to keep in contact with you and to provide you with one or more of our Calabash service offerings.
We collect personal information directly from you or from publicly available sources, such as from your website, news articles, public listings, and so on. If you provide us with personal information related to others (for example, the name and contact details of a work colleague), we ask that you seek their informed consent beforehand. Tell them that you are disclosing their personal information to us, and direct them to this Privacy Statement and our email address if they have questions.

We do not collect, hold or store personal information on your customers, except where it is necessary for our engagement.

Privacy as a Calabash Solutions interviewee

For some research studies where we are contracted by you to conduct interviews, we collect and hold personal information about your customers, and in some instances, about your patients. Personal information typically includes customer name, contact details, gender, and age. Where relevant to the research topic, we may collect sensitive information, such as a patient’s account of their medical experiences and their medical history. We may collect information about a patient’s carer and family support system, as well as information on a medical doctor or clinical treatment team.
We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to the research topic, and then only with the customer's informed, express, and recorded consent.
Information that we collect from customer or patient interviewees is de-identified during transcription. It is never disclosed to any person or organisation outside of Calabash Solutions, unless required by Law. All identifying attributes of the customer or patient, their family, their carer and their medical doctors are removed and never disclosed, not even to the organisation that has contracted our research services.

You can use our website without us collecting your personal information.

Your personal information and emails

When you send us an email, we collect your email address, as well as any personal information that you include in the body of your email message.
